Types of Cushioned Jogging Tracks

Construction and Laying Process

Our construction process focuses on base compaction and boundary containment to ensure structural longevity:

1. Site Survey & Layout Design

Mapping the track curves and width parameters. Excavating the sub-grade path to a depth of 150mm.

2. Edge Curb Wall Containment

Installing brick borders or pre-cast concrete curb stones along both sides of the path to hold the gravel and rubber layers.

3. Sub-Base Stone Base

Laying a geotextile weed-barrier sheet, followed by a 100mm course of crushed aggregates, compacted with a heavy vibratory roller.

4. Concrete Sub-Base Laying

Pouring a 75mm-100mm thick reinforced M20 concrete slab or paving hot asphalt, finished with slope grading for water runoff.

5. SBR Rubber Cushion Installation

Cleaning the base, applying a polyurethane primer, and paving a 6mm-10mm base SBR rubber crumb cushion course.

6. EPDM Wear Layer Paving

Applying a polyurethane seam adhesive, then paving the 3mm-5mm virgin EPDM wear course using an automated heated paver.

7. Line Painting & Inspection

Painting lane boundaries and direction markers using UV-resistant polyurethane paint, followed by a final inspection.
